In his current role he leads the Commercial Gas and Power teams who are responsible for hedging power assets and other power market activities plus the management of gas and oil procurement strategies at the Canal (#6 Fuel Oil, ULSD, NG), Bucksport (ULSD, NG), Milford (NG) and Dighton (NG) generation assets.  In previous roles at Direct Energy and Calpine, James oversaw procurement of large volumes LNG peaking supplies from Everett, St John and Excelerate to serve both power generation, wholesale and retail energy end-users.
