Christine Tezak

Christine (Christi) Tezak is a senior strategic advisor with more than 30 years of experience
helping institutional investors, corporate executives, policymakers, and industry leaders
assess how energy-market rules, regulatory decisions, infrastructure constraints, fuel-
security risks, and political developments affect capital allocation and long-term strategy.
She brings to those discussions a distinctive combination of capital-markets fluency,
organized wholesale electricity-market expertise, natural gas infrastructure knowledge,
environmental-policy experience, and an ability to work across stakeholder perspectives.
She developed that perspective across the electric utility, natural gas pipeline, liquefied
natural gas (LNG), and clean-technology sectors.

During her tenure that began at ClearView Energy Partners in 2012, Christi built and led the firm’s electricity
practice, founded its natural gas and liquids pipeline expertise, and strengthened its environmental regulatory
analysis. Recruited as a strategic leader to expand ClearView’s research capabilities, she helped drive a 50% increase
in firm revenues in her first year. Her work helps investors and corporate leaders assess how wholesale electricity
market design, regulatory intervention, litigation risk, fuel deliverability, infrastructure bottlenecks, and public-
policy shifts affect asset value, financing risk, resource adequacy, and long-duration infrastructure commitments.
Earlier, as a senior research analyst at Robert W. Baird & Co. and a senior vice president with Washington Research
Group, Christi developed the capital-markets perspective that remains central to her work. She has advised portfolio
managers, corporate leaders, and industry stakeholders through periods of significant market and policy
uncertainty, translating fast-moving events into practical judgments about risk, opportunity, and strategic
positioning. Known for analytical independence and balanced communication, she is frequently sought out for her
ability to engage constructively across stakeholder groups and explain complex sector dynamics to sophisticated
audiences with different objectives.

Christi’s recent national-level roles reflect the growing relevance of her cross-sector perspective. In 2025, she served
on the National Petroleum Council’s Reliable Energy: Delivering on the Promise of Gas-Electric Coordination study,
examining operational, planning, regulatory, market, and governance challenges at the intersection of the natural
gas and electric systems. In January 2026, she joined the Alliance to Save Energy’s Global Leadership Council,
broadening her engagement in efficiency, electrification, demand-side innovation, and emerging clean-energy
technologies. She is also a member of the Center for Strategic and International Studies’ Energy Security Task Force,
a nonpartisan senior-leader effort focused on maintaining electricity affordability and reliability amid load growth.

Christi has testified before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the U.S. Congress, is frequently quoted
in national and sector-specific media, and speaks regularly at industry conferences and policy forums hosted by
Fortune 500 companies, trade associations, think tanks, state regulators, and the U.S. government. She also serves
as a judge for the S&P Global Commodity Insights Global Energy Awards and is a long-standing member of the
Energy Bar Association and the National Capital Area Chapter of the U.S. Association for Energy Economics.

Christi’s governance experience includes 18 years on the Board of the Women’s Council on Energy & the
Environment, including 12 years on the Executive Committee. She helped lead governance, fundraising, staffing, and
organizational reforms that enabled a 400% increase in membership over six years, and she was honored as a WCEE
Champion in 2015. She is an NACD Certified Director and an alumna of the Deloitte Center for Board Effectiveness
Board-Ready program. She currently serves as Treasurer of the National Capital Squash Racquets Association.
Christi holds an MBA in Finance from George Washington University and a BA in Russian, magna cum laude, from
Boston College.
